Cellar wines:

Three old vineyards of white Grenache located between Masroig and Marçà rounding from 60 to 80 years of age, along with a fourth one of gray Grenache, compose the Trossos Sants. It expresses faithfully and almost transparently a white variety that, although not usual, favours a positive evolution of the wine, refining itself in the bottle in the succession of years. With a wide explosion of white fruits, it is fresh and juicy.

Every year  (among the scarcest old vineyards of white Grenache that still exists) the parcel with greatest potential for long aging is vinified separately, giving birth to its monovarietal Tros Blanc, that represents faithfully the variety’s origin and lineage. It is a white with the soul of a red wine, unctuous and fresh at the same time, with an extraordinary complexity.

Nine very old wineyards (giving the name Trossos Vells “old plots of land”): six carignans, two grenaches and one syrah, which give us yearly very intense and alive wines. A flow of red and black fruits, which are ripe and at the same time surrounded by freshness, transports us to the origins of the zone.

Coming from a precious heritage, centenarian vines, Tros Negre –conceived to be kept for a long time- is a wine that evidences remarkable own characters, even compared with the outstanding region Grenaches. Regardless of its delicate appearance, it is really a powerful wine that remains almost unalterable throughout the years.
